Buffalo Bleu Cheese Alfredo

BUFFALO BLEU CHEESE ALFREDO

This is a meal I had at a local restaurant and decided to come up with my own recipe , shockingly this is a very simple very quick meal ! It is not exactly light in calories though so if you are watching what you eat may I suggest skipping lunch to save yourself a few extra points . As you can see i served my alfredo along side a seafood stuffed clam shell and texas toast , the restaurant served this dish with different sides this isnt the kind of pasta you want to get cold so I would avoid sides like salad or anything you eat first letting the dish sit and cool . Even though it seems like a very adult dish my children really enjoyed it , this is the kind of thing I would reccomend for those nights when your just sick of the usual .

WHAT YOU WILL NEED
1 package of pasta (fettucini or angel hair)
2 cups of half n half cream
1 cup of regular 2% milk
1/3 cup of flour
1/3 cup of grated parmesan
1 stick of real butter
1 bottle creamy bleu cheese dressing
1 bottle redhots buffalo wing sauce
12 fried chicken strips (I made my own but you can also use store bought)
1 diced tomato
and parmesan cheese and or parsley  to taste (for topping your pasta)

DIRECTIONS
Boil your pasta , and set aside . In a large sauce pan add in all of your liquid ingredients(except your hot sauce) and stir over medium heat , add in your stick of butter add allow time for it to melt , add in your flour and parmesan cheese and stir briskly so that you dont get any clumps . Continue to cook over medium heat for an additional five minutes sauce will thicken upon standing . While thats cooking take your chicken strips and dip them into your hotsauce draining the excess . Now plate your pasta pour your freshly made bleu cheese alfredo over the pasta , place several chicken strips on top , follow with a few pieces of the diced tomato , and sprinkle with the parmesan and or parsley to taste . Quick simple and amazingly delicious !!!!
